BIOGRAPHY

I am an Assistant Professor and researcher specializing in Computer Engineering and Networking, with 24 years of experience in higher education, scientific research, and academic leadership. I hold B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Mosul, Iraq, and have served at several universities, including ALHADBA, Mosul, Zakho, Nawroz, and Duhok Polytechnic University (DPU). My expertise includes digital image processing, wavelet transformations, optical networks, optimization techniques, smart systems, and sustainable technology solutions. I have published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Over the years, I have supervised numerous postgraduate students, including a significant number of master's theses and several Ph.D. candidates both locally and internationally. I am currently supervising 3 Ph.D. students and 2 master's students. In addition to teaching, I actively engage in international collaboration and development initiatives. I have participated in the Erasmus+ OPATEL Project and played key roles in the IREX GSSC and GSC programs. Through these platforms, I have led international teams and guided students to achieve top global recognition. Passionate about advancing education and innovation, I strive to bridge academic knowledge with real-world solutions for global and sustainable impact.
