Fady Esmat Fathel Samann

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Fady F. E. Samann is a Senior Computer Engineer and Lecturer at the Technical College of Engineering, Duhok Polytechnic University. He manages the Cisco Networking Academy at the university. Dr. Fady began his career as an IT Manager at Nawroz University. He earned his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology from Duhok Polytechnic University, specializing in vehicular networks, and holds an M.Sc. in Electronic Communication and Computer Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK. As a Cisco accredited instructor, he participated in the 2023 IVLP program focused on Cybersecurity and IT Curriculum Development. Dr. Fady’s research interests include computer networking, communication, and IoT. He is currently working on integrating Cisco certification syllabi into the academic curriculum and establishing a Cyber Security department at Duhok Polytechnic University. Dr. Fady has published articles in prestigious journals across various fields.
